Online Only. You must register with a credit card to bid. Please see "Terms" for payment options. Bids can be entered individually or as a maximum amount you wish to bid. All bids entered are considered maximum bids, enter the maximum dollars you wish to bid and the software will bid on your behalf up to your dollar amount you entered. You will only pay the amount of the final bid at the end of the auction (if you have the high bid), you only pay the maximum you entered when someone else has bid up to that level. Example: You enter $100, someone bids $50 against you, you pay the next bid increment of $52. Example: You enter $200, another bidder enters $200, you Win because you entered the amount first (if the auction ends without bids over that amount). Any bids placed in the final 3 minutes of the auction closing, the clock resets to 3 minutes to allow you a chance to bid again. Please keep this in mind and REFRESH the page so you don't miss out on the item if you are using individual bids. NOTE: First 30 items close 1 per minute, after that 2 items close per minute. Please pay close attention to the clock and refresh if necessary or ENTER MAX BIDS to avoid possibly missing out on an item. Registration: You must register to bid with a valid credit card. Your assigned bidder number will remain valid for all future R.I.C.E. on-line auctions.
Buyers Premium: 15% buyers premium will be added to every purchase. Example: your winning bid is $100, you will be billed $115 at closing. A 3% Discount will be applied for those who pay in Cash or Cashiers Check (12% buyers premium for cash).
Payment: We accept Cash, Cashiers Check, Visa, Master Card or Discover. Those who choose to pay by cash or cashiers check must notify R.I.C.E. auctions after the close of each auction and must pick up on the designated load out day. If the winning bidder does not pick up on designated day or make other arrangements with R.I.C.E. auctions, the card will be charged immediately at the close of that day.
Sales Tax: 6% PA Sales Tax will be added to all totals. Exceptions- 1. Before the end of the auction, a completed PA Sales Tax Exemption form is emailed to us. 2. If the sale is a total liquidation held on-line/on-site, where removal will be at the items original location, no sales tax will be charged.
Pick up and/or Removal: Pick up Must be on the designated day unless other arrangements have been made prior to bidding. We have equipment necessary to load items from our warehouse, however the buyer/transporter assumes all responsibility for loading and securing the items for safe travel. In the event of an on-line/on-site sale, the buyer/transporter must bring all tools and manpower to properly and safely remove and load all items from the location.
Shipping: We will ship nation wide and have partners in the industry to provide very discounted pricing. Smaller packages (generally under 150 lbs) will be shipped UPS or USPS. Larger items that require truck shipment will be palletized for shipment. In all cases, the winning bidder is responsible for all costs including any or all of the following: freight costs, insurance, palletizing fees, packing fees and any special requested shipping instructions. Winning bidders must contact us at the close of the auction if they intend to ship. We can work with you and your carrier or arrange the shipping you need, in any event winning bidder assumes all costs associated with shipping.
Warranty: All items sold "AS IS, WHERE IS" with no warranty and are not guaranteed. We try our very best to test every item for functionality and descriptions are believed to be true and correct but not guaranteed.
